You may not know this about me but I am a real blazer lady.
I love my blazers for any occasions. When I want to dress up they are almost a must to me, but when I want to be more casual and throw one some jeans, sneakers and a cute top, I love topping everything up with a cool blazer to add structure.
In fact, I am not the most curvy girl on Earth so when I opt for more slouchy look, I sometimes feel some lack of structure in the whole outfit. Is there anyone in the same case? So this item is a must for me for these situations. haha
Now what about summer time? One still need to add structure to the lazy summer outfits but those long sleeves are just too warm then! 😉 SO THAT IS WHEN I UNDERSTOOD WHAT THESE SLEEVELESS BLAZERS WERE FOR.
Yes, until I realized this, I was just very sceptical about this not so new trend. But it is actually genius! Look how great it looks! Once again, you cand ress it up or down, and you will still feel light and fresh.
I need to get one ASAP! What do you think about them, Do you own any? How do wear them?
I have never mentioned Vilebrequin on my blog before but let me tell you this is one of my favorite brands ever for men swimwear.
Vilebrequin is highly known for its excellent quality fabrics, unique patterns with fun and vivid prints and finally the possibility of buying matching trunks for little boys and grownups for the father & son look.
This brand was created in the fabulous city of St-Tropez, in the French Riviera and embodies the whole croisette lifestyle.
– Early mornings having breakfast to the sound of cicadas
– Coffee & Newspaper reading at the Marina
– Lunch at the beach
– Late afternoon playing pétanque
– Dinner in family
– Night out (optional but good!)
In other words, the brand echoes a pretty prep lifestyle that I am all about. And what I love about it is that the funky prints will prevent the chic allure to become too posh looking. In fact you would expect the 40 year old man, matching his 4 year old with its turtle green and pink swim shorts, to be pretty cool, laid back and FUN.
In other words, this is definitely a P&F Brand to me and if you can get your loved ones a model from there – you would be the coolest!
They also have models for women that are pretty nice and that I invite you to check out – http://us.vilebrequin.com/.
Today, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite houses from Pinterest!
I really love this architecture and especially in houses that are not too too big. I think they just look cute like that and inspire confort to me as my family is quite small! 🙂
How are you guys?
Busy times at college as always but I really had to share this amazing pic that I found on Pinterest that is.. pretty much.. PERFECT.
In case you don’t follow me (yet!) on Pinterest, I’ve pinned this picture a while ago! Those cameras are so so cute and vintage looking to me – love them!
Plus, you may know that I am all about college style… And to me, this style is all about teddies and baseball tees, sneakers, graphic tees (big numbers and letters), sports related items and so on!
Tell me more about your style!
Hope you enjoyed!
For today’s post, I wanted to share with you a big obsession of mine: statement jewellery and more specifically, statement necklaces!
I have already talked about this in previous posts, and this is obviously not a new trend, but I am just obsessed with those bold necklaces. I kept a very old post from LaurenConrad.com with some cool tips about how to pair your necklaces according to hat you are wearing. Here it is!
Here are some of my faves and how I like weaing them (Credits -> Pinterest)!
As you may have notice, I really like playing around with styles. If I am going trendy I will make sure to have a classic touch, if I’m going relaxed, I will try to have a cute and fun detail in my outfit, if I’m going edgy, I will add some pearls here and there etc.
One of my favorite ways to style statement jewellery is definitely with a white tee or button up with some boyfriend jeans and flats or heels! I love it. I think it looks super sophisticated but confortable and not over thought.
Another way that I love wearing bold necklaces is with a really really relaxed outfit. Some cool sneaker, leggings and a nice flowy shirt.
I also think, mismatching colors is something wonderful to during spring and summer!
And the last way I would wear statement necklaces is with a solid color. Add a pop of color to a solid colored dress, or monochrome outfit.
