Discovery: John Woodbridge – Paris

Hello,

Today I wanted to share a small shop in Paris that I discovered last month. My cousin spotted it right away and as soon as I got in I was completely in love with the store.

It’s called John Woodbridge and sells amazing vintage looking travel and sport items.

This company which is quite recent (2013) aims to spread the love of vintage objects that are full of history.

Over there, you’ll find amazing leather pieces for travelling or old looking baseball balls among any others.

Here are some pics from their website.

The whole atmosphere of the store is gorgeous, it has this kind of man cave vibes to it that I find super charming.

If you are ever in the lovely area of St Paul in Paris, I highly recommend you check it out.

PS: And if you are really into vintage sports like this, check out their tumblr page which will be an absolute delight for you! Well done!

Cheers,

Vogue Fashion Night Out Paris 2014

Last Tuesday, I went to the Vogue Fashion Night Out  in Paris (#VFNO) for the very first time. I was there with a friend of mine and we had a blast!

Basicaly a few buzzing streets full of designers shops and studios closed their doors to the big public and became “invitation only” spots. The streets were very busy an full of people with great sense of style – of course the more excentric ones were there as well… but I do like them!

In order to show their new collection each brand had his own activities and surprises to entertain their customers: drinks, food (and you know how creative they can get with their mini bagels and all that jazz.. oh my!), photobooths, nailart, RODEO, you name it!

Overall we had an amazing time and it was wonderful to be able to network and meet new people.

We went to many stores but I must say I particularly loved our time spent at Ralph Lauren. Their collection is just TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I wanted to buy every single item there, whether they were for women, men, and children. And I just loved the whole exeprience, the staff was wonderful, all their drinks were delicious and that jazzy background… Oh yes please.

During that night, I also had the opportunity of meeting the wonderful Ines from frenchfashiontouch.com and I highly recommend you check out her blog and instagram!

Today’s Song!

Hello to all!

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting that much, but I’ve been very busy with university.

The following days are going to be different because I got some inspiration, visiting some blogs here and there, reading some magazines etc.

Hope you’ll enjoy the next articles I’ll post!

————–

I already told you guys about Malek Farhat, I follow them on facebook and everything they post is always at the very top of my Home page because I open almost every single link I see 😉

Lately they have been posting some very very cute pictures of little kids/babies with those awesome outfits.

In my point of view, I don’t think any baby kid should be overdressed, or wear too adult stuff. However, for a fun/grown up/princess photo shoot or special occasion I think it can be very cute.

According to the Preppy&Funny “rules” (see the “About” section and first articles). In fact, babies are babies, they should always keep some innocence in their outfits. It’s just, they must look cute anyway (I saw some pretty sexy outfits for babies.. and yea.. not the best look to me).

I think I never said as much “aww”‘s as during this week.

Hope you’ll “aww” a lot!

XOXO,

P&F
