I hope you are all doing well and you liked my previous #SMART post where I praised Whistles marketing on their website.
Today I wanted to share Sia & Kyo creativity on their last fashion show during the World Master Card Fashion Week #WMCFW that took place in Canada from October 20th until Octber 25th.
I personaly did not know Sia & Kyo very well but they have some amazing outerwear collections that I highly suggest you to check out.
(PS: Personally not a fan of the music but the rest is flaw-less)
You may not know this about me but I am a big fan of theatre and I love to stage things, whether it is a play , a dance routine or just day dreaming. As I also love fashion very very much, I love for example the Victoria Secret’s fashion show because they do combine a little bit of staging, acting games and fashion. So everytime I watch a fashion show I always think about ways I could stage it, invent a whole story around a single collection make the models interract with eachother etc. I hope I will get the opportunity of doing such a thing one day!
Meanwhile, I praise creativity in fashion shows. That’s basically the message I want to share.
PLUS as you know already, I love my “greenes”. SO, when I saw this fashion show that incorporated grass onto the runway. It was enough to make me want to see the whole show and the collection was truly beautiful. In fact, I think you do not need to add a lot of details in your fashion show. With this single element (+ the openning with the dog) you were already picturing spring out of the city which was exactly the designer’s intention. Love it.
Once again, if I may, congratulations Soia & Kyo.
Hi guys! So today I am going to share with you my May favorites! I absolutely love watching videos on youtube about it and read what other blogers have been loving.
I have to warn you, this has not been the most girly month ever…
1) Blue Bloods – O.M.G, I have been so so obsessed with this! It is not the most famous TV show where I live, but I have been crazy about it. I think I watched the 3 seasons during this month (I know it’s crazy!).
If you don’t know this show yet and like police/investigation tv shows, with strong family values, this is for you! Here is the trailer! Let me know if you like it!
2) White Hydrangeas – Well, well, well, I don’t know what has been going on with me this month (probably Spring Fever), I have developed a weird/crazy obsession over flowers (all kind but this one in particular). I mean REALLY. I could not go to any store with flowers in it, without looking at them for like 5mn!
3) Another reference to Coco Before Chanel movie! My first one was in this previous post. I feel like I have been wearing these striped tees (in red and in blue) the whole month. So that’s pretty simple. Hahaha! Okay now seriously, obviously not the whole month. But a LOT! Love wearing them with medium washed jeans and a pair of flats.
4) And for my music favorite this month (and a lot in April), HOODIE ALLEN. Okay I need to clarify some things, you obviously cannot be too sensitive to hear it – some lyrics are pretty rude. But you know it’s that fun and cool rythm in these hip hop tunes that we like! The lyrics really made me laugh when I first heard them!
I hope you enjoyed my May favorites, please share yours and/or link to your blogs!
How are you guys?
Busy times at college as always but I really had to share this amazing pic that I found on Pinterest that is.. pretty much.. PERFECT.
In case you don’t follow me (yet!) on Pinterest, I’ve pinned this picture a while ago! Those cameras are so so cute and vintage looking to me – love them!
Plus, you may know that I am all about college style… And to me, this style is all about teddies and baseball tees, sneakers, graphic tees (big numbers and letters), sports related items and so on!
Tell me more about your style!
Hope you enjoyed!
For today’s post, I wanted to share with you a big obsession of mine: statement jewellery and more specifically, statement necklaces!
I have already talked about this in previous posts, and this is obviously not a new trend, but I am just obsessed with those bold necklaces. I kept a very old post from LaurenConrad.com with some cool tips about how to pair your necklaces according to hat you are wearing. Here it is!
Here are some of my faves and how I like weaing them (Credits -> Pinterest)!
As you may have notice, I really like playing around with styles. If I am going trendy I will make sure to have a classic touch, if I’m going relaxed, I will try to have a cute and fun detail in my outfit, if I’m going edgy, I will add some pearls here and there etc.
One of my favorite ways to style statement jewellery is definitely with a white tee or button up with some boyfriend jeans and flats or heels! I love it. I think it looks super sophisticated but confortable and not over thought.
Another way that I love wearing bold necklaces is with a really really relaxed outfit. Some cool sneaker, leggings and a nice flowy shirt.
I also think, mismatching colors is something wonderful to during spring and summer!
And the last way I would wear statement necklaces is with a solid color. Add a pop of color to a solid colored dress, or monochrome outfit.
