This is our time.

Hello gorgeous reader,

This is March and I am back. As you may have read on Instagram or even on my previous posts, the month of February was very busy and quite stressful for me, hence the lack of posting.

I am truly sorry and I really want to make this month and the upcoming ones, different!

,,

For today’s post, I wanted to let you know about one of my last personnal projects.

You know how sometimes you and your best friends talk and are like “Yea, yea someday we will be like this top model, dressing like this and that.” “I know, I love this hair, one day mine will look just like that.”

Well. STOP.

NOW IS THE TIME.

YOLO people (sorry but YOLO never gets old to me)

These are the glorious years. No matter how old you are, I really think you should picture your better self and do everything you can to get close to it.

And as everybody knows, it is useless to just picture a goal and say that you want to achieve it. You should create your own baby steps in order to do so. So that’s what I decided to do and picture things that I want to do, and ways I want to change until I am 23 and until I am 25.

As some of these projects are quite personnal, I won’t share them all here which I’m sure you understand. However, yesterday my good friend sent me this link. We’ve gotta love Thought Catalog. ❤

From that list, this is what applies to me the most:

6. A good idea of what she needs in a romantic relationship, not just what she wants, or what she thinks she needs, and the willingness to explore different people and other ideas to find what exactly that is.

7. A closet of what she considers to be her “staples,” and among these things, something to wear to an interview, funeral, wedding, impromptu Friday night drink at a casual bar and dream date if ever someone were to call out of the blue.

10. A favorite coffee order, go-to restaurant for when friends visit from out of town, hairstyle that takes less than five minutes in the morning, “thank you” cards in her desk drawer, the print copy of her favorite book, and bedding that she is proud to show off.

11. A hobby that has nothing to do with drinking, shopping or somebody else.

12. The recipes for a number of easy meals memorized.

13. The desire and discipline to actually cook for herself. (Just herself.)

What about you? Which would be your one-year goals and 3-year goals?

Cheers,

Hello everyone,

For today’s post I wanted to share some pictures that I have been collecting over the last weeks and that all have one thing in common: they evolve leaves (& you might have guessed, I’m quite the fanatic here). Hope you enjoy this little dose of inspiration.

Am I the only one who thinks that this wreath is completely appropriate even for non-holidays time?

jukavo tumblr* By Jukavo (tumblr) <– I think this is brilliant, an amazing DIY to customize your notebooks and cards, a super easy way to express that creativity (I think a huge canvas full of these little branches would be pretty cool) & the perfect doodle for when you are bored!

*By Amelabo <– Not a huge fan of that big wooden cross as a holder, but I must say, I love the idea of that very plain and minimal calendar with all the energy focused on that green pic.

Cheers!

#SMART –> Whistles

As you figured, P&F is mostly a sharing spot. I love browsing through clothing and decor shops, streets, restaurants, magazines and blogs.

I wanted to share some of the nicest branding/marketing ideas I have been seeing all over the web during the last week. Some brands have beautiful ideas and are really inspiring. Today I decided to share one part of the Whistles website.

It has this “Inspiration” tab that is very VERY nice. Over there you can find some collabs with artists and other models, some ideas on ways to wear their clothes, and mostly you have the “neighbourhoods”. The latter is the best to me. Basically they take you to the neighbourhood of their stores (mainly in Britain but also internationally) . Examples: Whistles in Notting Hill, Cambridge, Berlin, NYC, etc.

It is genius marketing and branding for Whistles and their partners, but also, reading these small posts offer a beautiful moment to the reader that gets to see amazing pictures and also learn a little bit more about these cities and companies that are featured. Those reader who will likely become consumer-to-be 😉

If I may – Well done Whistles.

Hope you enjoy it!

“Be more with less”

As you may know from my previous posts, I have been all about minimalism.

Last week I stumbled upon this website that is all about having a “with less” lifestyle.

So far, I was all about this “less is more” vibe in what concerns beauty, fashion, decor but I never really gave much thinking about a “less is more” lifestyle.

So when I discovered  BeMoreWithLess.com, not only I got introduced to this new way of living, but I loved reading how to adapt it and the benefits it would give.

The last post I read there was “11 Surprising Things About Becoming a Minimalist”:

1. You will be friendlier.
2. Silence is more appealing.
3. You’ll make better decisions.
4. Happiness becomes a decision.
5. You can go without.
6. Live a healthier lifestyle.
7. You can buy when you are ready.
8. Simple is sexy
9. You can be more confident.
10. Develop a personal style
11. You can be open to uncertainty.

Curious? Read more there!

I am all about constant improvement in life, and I truly believe that it is important that we get inspiration from places like this to learn or at least be reminded of the small little things in life.

LEVO League

I’ve started working about one year ago and discovered the LEVO LEAGUE website.

Oh Dear.

If you don’t know this website yet, let me introduce it to you quickly. It is basically a website that helps you “elevate yourself” and specifically career wise.

Everyday, there are new posts, advices and interviews of successful people (mostly ladies) that will help you for your work day and career projects.
The articles vary from things you should do at work to be more efficient, to what you can do to have a stronger voice at the office, or to the tips and tricks to have a personal/work life well balanced.

They also have job offers, insights on very interesting companies and organize worldwide networking events.

Levo.com

One of my favorite posts: http://www.levo.com/articles/lifestyle/make-the-most-of-your-20s

So far, I’ve used a lot the career website/blog to read cool articles about how to be a better worker. But it really works as a type of linkedin website as well. You can create a profile, apply to job offers, attend office hours, have mentoring etc.

I love how the articles are super well written and most of the time you can follow the main lines through bullet points which is perfect if you are in a hurry and want to get a first idea before going back reading it later.

It is absolutely divine. They also have a pinterest account that I HIGHLY recommend following. They have the most gorgeous pictures that will lead you to amazing articles from their website but also from other very interesting ones.
