Not me (yet)! Ahh – come one, did I fool you? haha
That could have explained my complete absence from the blogosphere (and the whole internet – truly sorry about that) but as you may know already I started a new job and this first month has been particularly intense. I will be back on track on March I promise. Until then I will try to post as much as I can on FB – where I usually share my favorite finds of the internet.
– But back to this actual post –
LACOSTE & JCREW HAD A BABY
Two of my absolute favorite brands collaborated and launched their collection online yesterday!
I only saw that news yesterday while scrolling down on my instagram and was so so happy.
Both prep’ giants worked on a polo collection that is described perfectly in the The Fashion Spot.
The shirts are an updated throwback, inspired by the 1983 version of Lacoste’s alligator logo, rendered in blue as opposed to the green we’re used to seeing. – WWD
Available in three colorways, J.Crew switched it up with an archive style straight from 1983 that swaps out the traditional green crocodile for a blue one that’s detailed with a Lacoste cursive font inside the logo. The shirt’s fit has also been updated with a slimmer cut and features notched tennis tails. – Acquiremag.com
This is such an amazing idea – these are both great brands and I personally think that Jcrew has been doing an amazing job in teaming up with some great other leaders in an important range of market. Well done you two!
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all having a wonderful day. As some of you may know I absolutely love Lacoste brand. They had me way before their ad featuring Disclosure (oh that ad.. let’s go back for a sec here) that let’s be honest was pretty much DA BOMB. The staging and the idea are absolutely wonderful and the message is deep and beautiful.
Anyway, today is not for me to go back on that ad but to share how much I loved Lacoste Live FW14 collection. What I loved about it in a few words? It has the right amount of prep and sport chic. I mean come on, what could I want more than this?
All pics are wether from the website or from the shooting of the lookbook. I think they’re absolutely stunning and highly recommend you to pop onto Lacoste website because they really have amazing items and wonderful gift ideas for the Holidays.
Look how cool this behind the scenes pic looks:
I also loved their Pinterest Christmas Board that looks delightful. I shared it on my facebook page. Make sure you follow me over there to be the first informed about everything I’m loving at the moment.

Vraiment vraiment sympa! Bravo pour cette collection!

French brand featured on the blog today.
If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen a short video that I filmed while wandering around Paris last Sunday. I had an amazing – very spontaneous day, where I grabbed my bag and camera and started walking around and taking some snaps here and there, discovering new stores, concepts, coffee shops, decoration and so on.
One of my biggest surprise was stubling upon l’Art du Basic, that I did not know before and OH MAN – that was a lovely discovery.
I really think it’s useless to go back to my love for a good minimal look or to how much my trip to Copenhagen changed my life (well, almost!). In any case I absolutely loved that brand. It has wonderful clean cuts without beeing too classic, fine fabric, and that little something that adds some mystery to the collection with a hint of tomboy vibe (100% me 😉 ). Very very nice concept. Congratulations!

😉 ). Um excelente trabalho. Parabéns!
 My personal faves:
I’m a huge lover of these deep V necks. So glamourous. Â The off white dress has kind of the same vibe going, but in a more sutle way, easier for the daily basis and to brighten up the rainy days #whiteinwinter
Regarding these last two, what can I say beside that I love how tomboyish these styles look. However the cuts keep the feminine aspect very present which make everything very lovely.
I never use the word swag. But look at that last pause. That is minimal/tomboy swag! Love it.
