Homebar Inspiration

Inspo Board

1234

I am in this particular phase of summer where everyone around me is  wrapping up summertime and planning for their projects next year. Although we are still in vacation, I can feel things slowing down a little bit and moving towards what I like to call “The September Vibe”.

I have been catching up with a bunch of friends lately, telling eachother our vacation and it has been great. And for those little gathering parties, I have to say, a good homebar is a must!

I decided to create this inspiration board to share how I would personally style mine. As you may have seen in other posts, I love a good minimalist decoration. So really, sharing my must haves in a inspo board was kind of hard, but I stumbled upon all these pictures which really are a good reflection of what you would be able see on top of my homebar.

Here are my personal must haves:

Nice Furniture: I found this bar stool on Chairish.com, a website that is specialized in vintage furniture. They have gorgeous pieces that I highly invite you to check out.

Fresh Plants: Having some fresh plants, flowers OR – a single jumbo leaf in a vase. I saw that on a recent post from apairandasparediy.com and I absolutely loved it. It is just so simple, chic and it really is not that hard to find.

Drinks and Snacks: If I was to entertain a small group or just a friend or two, I would definitely chill around the bar with a bottle of wine, cheese, some nuts and fresh fruit. Because I mean you know.. you have to treat yourself 😉

Cosy Lighting: Another must-have for me are those long hanging lights. I think they dress up the room so nicely, and if you want a more cosy room, turning all the bigger lights off and leaving these on, gives such a nice atmosphere.

How would you personally style your home bar?

My favorite Spring Activities #1

Today’s Song!

Hi guys!

Long time no see! Today I am sharing with you some of my favorite activites that are the best for these warm days. Spring is one of my favorite seasons because warm days arrive after the cold winter, you can wear your light clothes again, play with light jackets and layers, flowers are blooming, people are happy.. AND it is not too hot – which is something that I HATE.

This is going to be a little series about all the activities I like to do during Spring!

WELL, PICNICS! I love love love love love picnincs!

Red Towel is a must, I hope we agree on this… (hihi)

You can’t forget to bring some things to play and have fun. This game can turn out crazy. I am that kind of girl who freaks out when she plays UNO. Sorry. :/

Well and a good board game is always nice! My favorite one must be Pictionary! So fun!

And well, to keep the atmosphere cool and relaxed, I would always bring my tiny speakers. I actually use these ones by Nokia. They are amazing. Well, but because we are educated, we will make sure the music is not too loud. *prep*

Time to Lounge

Hey guys!

First of all I’d like to thank you all for the kind comments and all the support regarding my new award. I wish to continue posting things that you like. So really don’t hesitate in telling me in the coments, what kind of post do you like the most and even suggest ideas if you have some!

As I told you (many times now) after these crazy weeks that I spent studying for college, I’m starting to get more relaxed now. Hopefully tomorrow night I’ll be done with all my work (until the exams).

So I decided to pick up a selection of stuff that I’ve been planning to do but I had absolutely no time to really enjoy doing.

1) Finish decorating my bedroom for christmas!
Image

 2) Bubble bath (I know, one have to be careful with the water spent, but once in a while I think it’s okay) listening to some cool music, and just taking care of yourself during hours and hours 😀

Image

 3) I can’t forget all the other exciting things to do during this period of the year!

Hope you enjoy my suggestions to relax a little bit during these holidays and hat you actually have time to do them.

I wish you all the best.

XOXO,
