I miss going to many fashion/design events as I used to do back in September. I gave priority to my other activities this winter and mainly university. I hope I will have the opportunity to go back to these events soon.

Many many many of you may know this by now. I got some Stan Smith sneakers for my birthday back in October and I have been absolutely loving them. They are super comfortable, go with everything and they always give a casual touch yet sophisticated thanks to the Midas touch (got it? Gold 😉 – so P&F). Vogue Fashion Night Out Paris 2014

Last Tuesday, I went to the Vogue Fashion Night Out  in Paris (#VFNO) for the very first time. I was there with a friend of mine and we had a blast!

Basicaly a few buzzing streets full of designers shops and studios closed their doors to the big public and became “invitation only” spots. The streets were very busy an full of people with great sense of style – of course the more excentric ones were there as well… but I do like them!

In order to show their new collection each brand had his own activities and surprises to entertain their customers: drinks, food (and you know how creative they can get with their mini bagels and all that jazz.. oh my!), photobooths, nailart, RODEO, you name it!

Overall we had an amazing time and it was wonderful to be able to network and meet new people.

We went to many stores but I must say I particularly loved our time spent at Ralph Lauren. Their collection is just TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I wanted to buy every single item there, whether they were for women, men, and children. And I just loved the whole exeprience, the staff was wonderful, all their drinks were delicious and that jazzy background… Oh yes please.

During that night, I also had the opportunity of meeting the wonderful Ines from frenchfashiontouch.com and I highly recommend you check out her blog and instagram!

I’ve started working about one year ago and discovered the LEVO LEAGUE website.

Oh Dear.

If you don’t know this website yet, let me introduce it to you quickly. It is basically a website that helps you “elevate yourself” and specifically career wise.

Everyday, there are new posts, advices and interviews of successful people (mostly ladies) that will help you for your work day and career projects.
The articles vary from things you should do at work to be more efficient, to what you can do to have a stronger voice at the office, or to the tips and tricks to have a personal/work life well balanced.

They also have job offers, insights on very interesting companies and organize worldwide networking events.

So far, I’ve used a lot the career website/blog to read cool articles about how to be a better worker. But it really works as a type of linkedin website as well. You can create a profile, apply to job offers, attend office hours, have mentoring etc.

I love how the articles are super well written and most of the time you can follow the main lines through bullet points which is perfect if you are in a hurry and want to get a first idea before going back reading it later.

It is absolutely divine. They also have a pinterest account that I HIGHLY recommend following. They have the most gorgeous pictures that will lead you to amazing articles from their website but also from other very interesting ones.

“We need to talk”…

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing fine, that you had an amazing summer time and back to school/wrok time was the best. 

As you may have noticed my blog has stagnated over the last 2 months. Long story short, these month were very busy, lots of projects, lots of things changing in my life.

I thought you all deserved an explanation about my absence. Unfortunetely this is not a coming back… I truly loved this year (almost) of blogging: discovering and learning a lot of things and metting very interesting and nice persons.

I had such a good time, that I do think that I will continue this blog in a few months. 

Until that time, I will keep following you guys, and hope to still have your support when I’ll finally come back. 

Thank you to all of you who made this blogging experience so fulfilling.
